DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. Here's how we handle copyright claims and protect our own content.

1. Our IP Rights

All original content on CardXpro — including written guides, fact pages, educational content, site design, logos, and the CardX Pro brand identity — is owned by CardX Pro and protected under United States copyright law (Title 17, U.S. Code) and applicable trademark law.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of CardX Pro content without written permission is prohibited and will be pursued.

Protected assets include:

  • All written content on CardXpro
  • The CardX Pro name, logo, and brand identity
  • The CardXpro domain name
  • Original photography and card imagery created by CardX Pro
  • Email newsletter content
  • Social media content posted under @cardxpro and @cardxprohq

2. Third-Party Card Artwork

Trading card artwork displayed on CardXpro is owned by the respective card manufacturers (Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, and others). Such content is displayed for editorial, descriptive, and informational purposes consistent with fair use doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107).

CardX Pro claims no ownership over any card manufacturer's artwork, logos, or intellectual property.

3. DMCA Takedown Policy

CardX Pro complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe content on CardXpro infringes your copyright, submit a written takedown notice containing ALL of the following:

  • Your full legal name and contact information
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • Identification of the specific URL(s) on CardXpro where the infringing content appears
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

  • Response: Within 5 business days

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Counter-notifications must meet the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Submit to [email protected] with subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice."

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

CardX Pro will terminate access to users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.

6. Brand Protection

The CardX Pro name, CardXpro domain, and associated marks are proprietary. Unauthorized use of our brand in domain names, social media handles, business names, or marketing materials will be pursued under applicable trademark and unfair competition law.
