💎 Truth First

The Nuggets That Matter

The stuff they don't tell you. The truths that save you money. The knowledge that makes you a better collector.

🎯

Condition Is EVERYTHING

A PSA 6 and PSA 10 of the same Jordan card can be worth 10x different. Never skip condition assessment.

📦

Supply Creates Demand

Rarity = low print run. Check the print run number on your card (/25, /100, /499). If there's no number, assume it's common.

🔍

PSA.populationreport.com Is Free

See exactly how many of your card exist at each grade level. Low population + high grade = jackpot.

🏆

Vintage ≠ Valuable

A 1988 Score card is "vintage" but worth $0.50. Old + wrong player + common = worthless. Player > year.

💰

Bulk ≠ Bad

100-card lots on eBay often have vintage mixed in. Estate collections are goldmines. Always check the "unknown variety" lots.

🛡️

eBay = Safe

Buyer protection covers fakes. Always buy from 98%+ feedback sellers. Verify graded card cert numbers before buying.

📈

Patience > Spending

The best collectors buy slow and buy smart. Monthly budgets ($25-50) beat lump-sum spending every time.

Real Photos > Stock

Always ask for real photos. Stock photos hide damage. If a seller won't show the actual card, walk away.

🌡️

Heat = Death

Attic, basement, glovebox = destroyed cards. Room temperature, low humidity, dark storage. Card dies in heat.
