Rarity = low print run. Check the print run number on your card (/25, /100, /499). If there's no number, assume it's common.
See exactly how many of your card exist at each grade level. Low population + high grade = jackpot.
A 1988 Score card is "vintage" but worth $0.50. Old + wrong player + common = worthless. Player > year.
100-card lots on eBay often have vintage mixed in. Estate collections are goldmines. Always check the "unknown variety" lots.
Buyer protection covers fakes. Always buy from 98%+ feedback sellers. Verify graded card cert numbers before buying.
